Soap in a Sweater (felted soap) is a bar of soap wrapped in wool. Through a felting process the wool becomes tight around the bar. The felted soap works like an SOS pad for the body. They make a gentle exfoliator and are wonderful as a non-skid bar in the bath and shower. For people that have arthritis or gripping problems, felted soap is easy to hold on to and will not slip easily out of your hand.

Another use is as a foot treatment to keep your feet soft and healthy. Wash and scrub your feet once a day, especially around the toes and heel. In a few days, you will notice a difference. Other dry skin areas benefit from the use of a felted bar. If you go camping, don’t forget to put one into your supplies.

Once the soap is used up, you can use the pad of wool as an air freshener in a drawer or suitcase. Rub some catnip on it and it becomes your cat’s favorite toy.

Soap in a Sweater comes in two styles: moisturizing soap with fun colors of wool and organic soap with natural, un-dyed wool.
